Let me just start by saying that knowing this song was banned and all the filth is allowed to play just pissed me off. I dedicate this article to Those who believe in God and Country. To all those fighting in wars that would not even be happening if the American Government had only believed.
Thoughts:
Joey Jessica Mcgee i have served this country for 12 years now fought in wars, was taken from my family and friends, have seen and done things that i wonder if ill ever be able to forget, was not there the day my father past away, was fighting in a war when i lost my grandmother now at home from being wounded at war and there is still not a day that i don’t put my flag up every morning and take it down every night, not a day that i don’t talk to god, and after all this i still feel pity for those who want to believe that there is no god and our country that both you and i and many others have fought for. right on Mr. Duncan, thank you for your service to this country i love and fight so hard to keep free so that those nonbelievers and and anti military can have there right to bitch,.... but its ok to those of u, sleep in peace tonight while i put my life on hold for you. i cant even tell you how upset i get when i here some one tell me there is no god, or god shouldn’t be in schools or on our money,,,so on,, it erks me so much when i here these kids and adults talk bad about us, and the one thing i don’t get, as Americans we spend so much time trying not to offend some one else that it offends me...... lol i guess it all boils down to is that if you don’t like the way that our country was founded, then leave! go live in a country like where i just came from,, and be told what to do and what to believe or you loose your whole family...
MY BUDDY
They say he died in glory,
What ever that may be.
If its dying in a burst of flame,
Then glory's not for me.
In the briefing room this morning,
He sat with clear eyes and strong heart,
Just one of many airman
Determined to do his part.
My buddy had the guts alright,
He sought not glory nor fame.
He knew there was a job to do,
My crew all felt the same.
But death had the final word,
In its log it wrote his name.
For my buddy died this afternoon
In glory - in a burst of flame.
(Dedicated to Mike Shanley who gave his life ditching on his 6th mission)
Another True American Hero:
Daniel Gilyeat is a decorated U.S. marine and a loving father to his children, having served not one but two tours in Iraq. During the second tour he volunteered for, he was out on a mission when a bomb hit his truck. He suffered major injuries and lost his left leg above the knee. In addition, his marriage ended and he suddenly became a single father. As with many soldiers, deployment had put a huge stress on his marriage. But despite these setbacks and personal battles, 25 days after losing his leg, Daniel was up and walking with a prosthetic leg, and inspiring other wounded soldiers by visiting them in the hospital and speaking with their families.
A Letter Written by A World War ll Veteran:
This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes
all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,
he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.
He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.
Dear President Obama,
My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.
I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor, allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.
One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.
So here goes.
I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.
I can't figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
" We're no longer a Christian nation"
" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even
announced to the world,"America is mean-
spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching
that nonsense to 23 generations of our
war dead buried all over the globe who
died for no other reason than to free a
whole lot of strangers from tyranny and
hopelessness.)
I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.
After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals."
Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.
I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.
Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.
Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue. You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.
And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts, who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.
One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.
You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.
And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.
Sincerely,
Harold B. Estes
Veterans Treated Like Welfare Recipients? A Reporters Comment:
"Causes of the pending bankruptcy" as the elderly, the retired, military Veterans, welfare recipients, and the increasing demands of "undocumented workers" (illegal immigrants).
Millions of patriotic Americans served with honor, integrity. and pride; How dare these jackasses think that military Veterans are no different than the millions of Welfare Recipients.
This Diamond Rio song is banned from the radio because it is not politically correct. Today was the first time I heard it and I can say that I will be buying Diamond Rio music from now on. This song is what America is all about and Those who control the politics and the Media should not fool themselves into thinking we will give up God.
There have been many times lately that The American Government has made me ashamed to be American; but they have never and will never make me ashamed of God.
Recent Event:
Big Brother says elderly visitors to federally funded meals at a Georgia senior citizen’s center aren’t allowed to pray to that Christian God of theirs. Obama’s Big Brother government contends that since it has paid for their meals the government has the right to slam its iron boot heel down on the necks of those seasoned citizens that dare to engage in such an apostasy toward the state.
I am sure glad I wasn’t the one to tell the Elderly they couldn’t pray. They’ve been at it for years and they know how to get prayers answered.
Religion in School: (various Opinions)
1.Keep it in the schools. The goverment should keep it's nose out of faith.
2.Unless all religions are taught and given respect equally. My kids were raised (til 8th grade) in a really great private school that taught and celebrated all religions.
However I do believe that if some kids in the public school want to pray together (without making a big deal out of it) it should be fine and I know this happens at my kids schools now.
3.I believe it is the parents duty to bring religion into the family not the schools.
I personally believe that God is everywhere and If you try to keep him out of one part of your life; he will stay out of all parts of your life. I believe that is why such fierce and swift destruction is falling on America and its people.
